GoodLife Fitness City Chase National Championships to be held in Ottawa!

You can run… but can you Chase?

Ottawa, ON. (September 17, 2015) - Athletes from across Canada are gathering in Ottawa on Saturday, September 26th to compete at the GoodLife Fitness City Chase National Championships. These elite athletes beat out over 4,000 competitors who competed at the regional events in their respective cities to qualify for just 20 coveted spots at Nationals.

Part obstacle race, part scavenger hunt, this Amazing Race-style event raises funds for the GoodLife Kids Foundation, which supports kids’ charities providing ongoing physical activity opportunities for children ages 4 - 14.

“We value the opportunity to be the recipient of fundraising dollars gathered by GoodLife Fitness City Chase participants this year,” says Lisa Burrows, Executive Director of GoodLife Kids Foundation. “Funds raised will support local ongoing physical activity programs for children with autism. This partnership helps GoodLife Kids Foundation reach our ultimate goal of all Canadian kids being physically active.” GoodLife Fitness City Chase competitors have raised almost $100,000!

To conquer this 18 hour Amazing Race-style adventure, chasers will decipher clues to find ChasePoints hidden throughout the city. They must run, walk or use public transit as they race to the ChasePoints where they will complete challenges that test both mind and body. The goal is to complete all the ChasePoints before racing on to the finish line!
